The Green zip wall is a high performance energy efficient exterior wall sheathing that reduces air infiltration dramatically resulting in lower heating and cooling costs.
Foam attic and R-23 blown in batt fiberglass make for a high performance thermal envelope.
Assure R-23 insulation is blown in to the wall cavities and then cleaned up with a rotary rasp.
A plug is put into the wall, filled with insulation, then removed to be weighed to make sure the proper density has been achieved.
Don Mckee, the Guardian rep, shows David Clotz, owner of TCI, how to weigh a test sample of insulation to make sure the application gun is applying the correct density of insulation.

The Florentino lot in the Moors was a challenge because it had a large diagonal easement along the back and borders the Avalon Blvd right of way. This home has high performance energy efficient features such as foam insulation, low e windows, and 2 speed heat pump. It has Storm-Tuff hurricane resistance features and a safe room. Everything a family needs to be protected from a hurricane or tornado.
