We set the swimspa on a recessed platform designed to give it a built in feel while remaining accessible for maintenance and future replacement as needed.
Bags of ice were used to hold the swimspa off the deck so that the lifting straps could be removed. The swimspa set down on the deck as the ice slowly melted.
The green zip board coating serves as a secondary water barrier coating behind the siding and helps make the thermal envelope (heated and cooled space) much more air tight.
